Upgrade to Computer Admin 4 from 3.76

Exit from Computer Admin Pro or Lite and make a full backup to an external disk before continuing. Do not remove the old files from your computer until the update is complete and you have verified the data.

1. Run Computer Admin Pro 3.76 (instructions to upgrade to 3.76)
2. From the Scripts menu choose "Export for CA4"
3. New files will be created in your Computer Admin 3 folder.
4. Move these new files to your Computer Admin 4 folder:
   
   • X_Comp.mer
   • X_Lic.mer
     
   • X_Peri.mer
   • X_Sof.mer
     
   • X_TC.mer
     
   • X_Users.mer
5. Run Computer Admin 4
6. from the Scripts Menu choose CA3 Import
7. Verify that your data has been imported properly.

NOTE: CG Software can perform this task for you. If you are currently registered and still within your maintenance agreement you can email your files to us and we will transfer your data to the latest version and email them back.
